Where will you spend eternity?
Have you come to a place in your life that you know for sure you have eternal life and that you will go to heaven when you die? Suppose you were to die tonight where would you find yourself? Heaven or hell? Have you made your choice?
To go to hell, all you have to do is nothing!
Our Message The Way of Salvation Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” In the third chapter of John, Jesus speaks of the “New Birth” which a man must experience before he can enter the kingdom of God. Just as a man must experience physical birth to be a part of this world, so he must experience spiritual birth to be a part of the kingdom of God. The way of salvation found in God’s Word, the Bible, is: Recognize your sin: Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Before you can come to Christ, you must first recognize your need for a Savior. Recognize the results of sin: Romans 6:23a, “For the wages of sin is death.” The wages or payment if you will for sin is death, referring to both the physical death which we can not put off, and more importantly a spiritual death, which means to be apart from God. Recognize that God wants to meet your need: Romans 5:8, “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.:” In other words Christ experienced death, in that he left heaven and entered into the world as a man in order to receive our wages. He was beaten and died a horrible death so we could be restored to God the Father. Recognize that God meets this need in Christ: Romans 6:23b, “...but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Recognize that God will receive you now, if you will receive His Son: John 1:12, “Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.
